How Likely Am I to get a Job in either Finance or Accounting?
I currently work as a Junior Accountant at a small Accounting firm and have never been asked for proof about my GPA so it has never been discussed thankfully..
I am a Finance major with a low GPA who will most likely graduate with a 2.5
How likely is it for me to get a job in Accounting or Finance especially considering the current economical situation?

How can I get into the accounting/finance field at an entry level? Financial analyst?
I’m 24, one year out of college. I got a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, which is basically a piece of crap. I’ve been in sales now for a year, and I hate it. I’m decent at it, and make decent money, but it doesn’t suit my personality.
I’d like to get in as a financial analyst somewhere, or some sort of entry level accounting. I looked for openings within my company, without any luck. Does anybody have any advice/experience they’d like to share?

Can you work at an accounting firm with a finance degree?
I’m graduating in finance and an accounting CPA firm asked me to interview with them (small firm of about 60). I have only taken 12 hrs of accounting (2 beginner and 2 intermediate classes but they were a while ago and I only know the basics). Would I be able to cut it in an accounting position there? And also, what would I be doing? I ask this cus the interview is 3 days away and a 3 hour drive and want to make sure it is worth it and I actually know and like what I would be doing. Thanks.
