Is there a way to become an accountant without going to business school?
I am in the process of researching careers I have never considered before as a possible career change. I am interested in accounting but I just finished graduate school and am in no hurry to go back. Is there a way for a person to go into accounting without a business degree or attending business school? If not, do you know of any alternative education program that offers a fellowship or scholarship to enter an accounting program? Thanks.
Can I become a financial journalist with a degree in Accounting? What post grad study would be good?
I’m doing a degree in accounting. Although the degree is accounting we do economics, business organisation and general business studies etc. We are well rounded i think is how they would describe it. Although I will probably become an accountant I am wondering (if I decided not to follow this route) if i would be able to go into writing about financial and business matters
What post graduate study would help me into this route?
Do i have to have an accounting degree to acquire a CPA license?
I have B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and MBA in Finance and Health care management. I am still pretty young (26 yrs.) I do have a relatively good job. But I was thinking about acquiring a CPA license, I am planning to start my own income tax business. I am not sure if I need an accounting degree.
Which 4-year university in Chicago has the best accounting program?
I am 28, and thinking of going back to school to get an accounting degree and either go on to get my CPA or CFA, or both. However, which university is the best for accounting? I’ve read online that UIC has a nationally ranked accounting program, but how about DePaul or Loyola?
How much can an accountant expect to make, fresh out of college?
I am deciding on a business major, and will either do information systems or accounting. Once I get my accounting degree, how much could one expect to make in an entry level accounting position?
What is the best way to pursue an accounting career?
I’m at a 4 year college now, and have my first two years almost complete. Is there anything specific I should do, or just continue taking the classes that I need to complete my accounting degree?
what kind of jobs can you get with a accounting degree?
i’m somebody who wants to major in accounting but don’t know where can i look for a job after i graduate.
