I’m in grade 11 and I am thinking of going into business or accounting. I was wondering what type of things do accountants do, how much do they get paid, is it a good job, what types of accountant are there and what is the step by step process of becoming an accountant in canada, starting in high school. I’m also very interested and good at managing money and salsaries and doing balance sheets and etc. What type of job opputunties or positions does that give me? Thanks very much for any help!
I am contemplating studying accounting in college. Can anyone tell me how secure the job market is for accountants?

To have an accounting major students take high-level math in order to become accountants, but do you actually use all that math you learn?
The reviews for Quickbooks Mac have been horrible. Does anyone know about any others, like MYOB? Ease of use for non-accountants, price, value, etc.?
you are a account/trustee & your escrow account gets interest who get the interest money? is there any rules or guildless to go by.
Does texas have different laws on Accountant escrow accounts on interest?
I am the accountant I have put money into my escrow account from a client do I get to keep this interest money or is there a law that or guild line that states different. I know lawyers do not get to keep the interest on the IOLTA accounts I do not know if it is different for accountants.
Someone who does accounting for business purposes. I am starting up a business and i need an accountant to handle my finances and stuff. Accountants are too expensive and in my opinion are too overpriced.

I am wondering if an accountant just sits at a computer all day or not.. I read that accountants need good communication and people skills, so I would guess that I wouldn’t be at a computer all day?
